Charlie Tophill is a musician, producer and artist from the UK, best known for her avant-pop solo project, Bar Pandora.
Tophill's approach to composition is playful and instinctive, seeking empowerment and joy through uninhibited creativity and musical experimentation. She uses audio collage, journal extracts, field recordings and looping to create playful compositions sewn together with lyrical and musical threads.
She is also known for her gender advocacy. She runs a network for women and marginalised genders in music, and has appeared on BBC 4 Woman's Hour to discuss the challenges facing women in music today.
